Mr. Speaker, this bill would authorize the Commissioner, or the Minister acting on behalf of the Commissioner, to make loans to municipalities for municipal purposes for the fiscal year 1993-94. Mr. Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Nunakput, that Bill 18, An Act to Amend the Public Printing Act, be read for the second time. Mr. Speaker, this bill would amend the Public Printing Act to allow the Minister of Justice to appoint an editor and deputy editor of the Northwest Territories Gazette to expand their regulation-making powers to provide for regulations governing the contents of, and frequency of, publication of the Northwest Territories Gazette, and to allow the territorial printer to charge for publications.
