Mr. Chairman, that was the information that I have that I thought wouldn't be detailed enough: Mackenzie Regional Health Services; Fort Smith and Yellowknife Social Services department representatives; Deh Cho, health planning project, representatives of Liidii Koe First Nations; Metis Association, Fort Simpson Hospital and the contact there is Allison DePelham.
In project direction for Fort Simpson, the Liidii First Nation Project Advisory Committee are representatives of the First Nation and Metis local; the Department of Health and Social Services and other local health professionals who will act as project resources. We have a contact there, Lorraine Menicoche-Moses.
In Kitikmeot region, the project direction is under the executive director, regional nursing officer. The project team is the coordinator, research and writer. Contact there is Julia Ogina, project coordinator. Thank you, Mr. Chairman.

Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I am more interested in the Mackenzie Regional Health Services section that the Minister referred to. If I understand correctly, the steering committee will be made up of Mackenzie Regional Health Services, Fort Smith and Yellowknife Social Services representatives. My question is why aren't community hamlets and band councils involved in the project direction within the steering committee?

Mr. Chairman, it is the Mackenzie Regional Health Services and the Fort Smith and Yellowknife Social Services department representatives. One of the drawbacks in this particular area, Mr. Chairman, is not having a Mackenzie Regional Health Board in place at the present time. There have been meetings with the Dogrib Nation and Deh Cho people with regard to forming a board. I am not sure what the status of that is at the present time. But obviously the department would like to involve those people. I would stress, for the record, that this is an interim steering committee and, hopefully, we will get down to the community level for that representation. I would stress also that there is no way that we are going to be able to complete this regional health planning without the participation of those communities and the people in them. So it is an interim steering committee and we will expand it as they recommend to us how to involve other areas of the communities. Thank you.
