Mr. Chairman, the information I have is that the contract was awarded to Stan Dean & Sons of Hay River. It didn't occur until late February and I'm not aware of who the contractor has working for him in the community. Perhaps Mr. Todd might have more information, Mr. Chairman.

Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I don't know the actual dollar amount, but Stan Dean & Sons Ltd. is a northern firm out of Hay River, I believe. It is clear from the scope of work for this project that there has to be significant northern, and particularly local, involvement. We've worked with this company before and, in the past, they have demonstrated a reasonable approach to community involvement. We're reasonably confident they'll be able to do it this time as well. Thank you.

Thank you. I'm aware that in the Sahtu region, there are several major heavy equipment companies with sufficient equipment to do an airport of this magnitude. I'm wondering if any attempt was made to negotiate a contract to do the project locally?
