Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Earlier today I mentioned that the situation of Arctic Bay community freezer is a lesson for us all in planning community empowerment. I raised this issue in May of this year, that, at the time when the freezer was critical in proper storage of muktuk
and caribou used in inter-community trade with communities.
The problems have continued throughout the summer and now we have another crisis. I wish to ask the Minister of Public Works and Services, honourable Goo Arlooktoo, if he can explain what his department has done to help the people of Arctic Bay solve this freezer problem since last May?
