Thank you, Mr. Speaker. When I look at the priorities, I am also trying to focus on things close to home, I see the needs, not just to the seniors but also the youth. Last year, Fort McPherson had the unfortunate luck of having its school burn to the ground. Today construction of the new school has been scheduled. The children in the community have no place to go for recreation, except the skating rink. They also have no recreation equipment, which has been lost in the loss of the school. Recreation is a great way to encourage children to live a healthy lifestyle. Even as we cut programs, we need to encourage wellness among the youth. I would like to ask individuals, Members of this House, communities across the Northwest Territories, to consider donating any recreation equipment you can afford to keep the children in Fort McPherson busy and healthy this winter.
