Thank you, Mr. Speaker. It's my understanding that aboriginal groups have been consulted, as well as all public in the Northwest Territories, for any cuts that this government is making. As far as the federal government responsibility for aboriginal rights and the federal government's legal responsibility to aboriginal people, we have raised this issue many times; that we, as a government, feel that the federal government has not lived up to its legal obligations to aboriginal people on many of the programs.
