Thank you, Mr. Speaker. My question today is for the Minister responsible for the NWT Housing Corporation. I would like to know if the Minister could confirm for me whether or not it is true that under the current policies of the local housing authorities, it is possible for a situation to occur such as the one I outlined in my Member's statement whereby an unusual, significant amount of money could arrive for a single parent intended to be spent on their children and could in fact be absorbed as rent because it would be worked into the calculation for one single month.
