Dealing with the Executive, in regard to the whole area of employment and such like, especially in the senior management area of this government there was a lot of concern raised in regard to the whole area of affirmative action within this government and the lack of affirmative action candidates, especially at the senior levels of this government. Could the Premier tell us exactly what changes have been made and exactly what has been done to ensure ourselves, as Members, that that has been looked at in regard to this budget and if he has any comments on that?

Some of the Ministers of government, including myself, that direct appoint deputies, ADMs, people into government that are affirmative action candidates from the Northwest Territories, as well as every deputy has a human resource plan in place of how to identify people in their department to train them so that they can move up to management level.
