Thank you, Mr. Speaker. No. To become a teacher, one does not have to be trained in specific strategies for dealing fetal alcohol syndrome or fetal alcohol effects in a classroom. However, it is worth noting that as part of our community counsellor training, our community counsellors are, in fact, given training in this area and are expected to work with the schools in each community.
