On Bill 33, An Act to Amend the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, this bill will extend by one year, the period for which the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act has primacy in the event of a conflict with provisions in other legislation. This year, it will be used to address the concerns of the Access and Privacy Commissioner raised in review of the previous bill. Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
