Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, today in his Minister's statement, the Honourable Goo Arlooktoo referred to the federal government's duty with respect to criminal law and the GNWT's participation in the administration of the laws in the Northwest Territories. My question today for the Minister of Justice is, criminal records, territorial and federal court registries can be searched and accessed when necessary, could the Minister tell me, if he knows, how long do criminal convictions stay on a person's file at court registries? Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
