Thank you, Madam Chair. There was no effort or mandate to see if there was any affect on self-government negotiations or anything like that. This is a minor amendment and the main philosophy behind us, or we the government when we deal with aboriginal custom adoption is that we should not interfere with the practices or make changes without consultation. There is no effort here to make any changes to the Aboriginal Custom Adoption Recognition Act.
