On page 11-23, under the NWT Development Corporation, the contributions to generate employment and develop economic opportunities may not be suited for individual entrepreneurs, a very worthwhile endeavour. I am sure that the board of directors on the NWT Development Corporation are keeping a close eye on that. I would like to ask the Minister if he was a Minister or an Ordinary Member when Ms. Jeanie Marie-Jewell was a Minister?

The reason I was asking is because on April 4 and 5, 1991, the Union of Northern Workers took the Minister of Safety and Public Services to court because she would not comply with appointing board members to the mining board. The court ordered her to comply with the Mining Health and Safety Act. What I was wondering, was why this Minister thinks that the Court would treat this particular board any different than they treated the mining board? Thank you.
