Mr. Chairman, I believe the Public Service Career Training Program had quite a positive history within the Government of the Northwest Territories. What we found with the program the last two years, we decentralized it to the regions so regional superintendents could work with their colleagues to identify positions and then develop training programs in the region. We did, in the 1999-2000 year, the last fiscal year, have a significant lapse in that particular program. This year, we saw a much better uptake. We have held back a little bit, pending finalization of the array of programs that might be developed as it relates to maximizing northern employment. However, in my discussion with superintendents over the last couple of months, they have been much more aggressive in the use of this program this year. Thank you.
