Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I do agree with the Member that the apprehension of children should be a last resort. We do have an obligation to provide protection to children who are at risk, but we also have a responsibility as a government to families to ensure that proper support and counselling are available to them when they find themselves in difficult situations that may put their family at risk of being split up.
