Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, my question is for the Minister of Health and Social Services and follows up on my statement today on the need for the Northwest Territories to have an act similar to the Alberta Protection Against Family Violence Act.

Mr. Speaker, since making the commitment in March, has the Minister made herself aware of family violence legislation across Canada, particularly that found in Alberta?
