Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I'd like to recognize Dr. David Butler-Jones. Dr. Butler-Jones is past-president of the Canadian Public Health Association, a member of the Naylor committee and a respected public health advocate and expert who is in the North to speak on the importance of a strong, vibrant, well organized public health system in order to respond effectively to emerging issues such as SARS, West Nile Virus, mad cow disease and others.
