Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, my question is to the Minister of Health and Social Services concerning drug addiction services in the Beaufort Sea/Mackenzie Delta region. One of the things that we are finding with all the oil and gas development and the drug and alcohol testing that is now required under the new rules put in place by the industry is that we are still seeing a very high failure rate in regards to the number of people that are looking for employment. Yet, Mr. Speaker, on the service side of this government we have seen, if anything, a decline in programs and services. One example is that we do not have alcohol and drug services being provided in the community of Aklavik, nor do we have any treatment facilities presently operating in the region. So I would like to ask the Minister, exactly what are we doing as a government? This government has done strategy after strategy, yet we do not seem to see any implementation of any of these efforts. I would like to ask the Minister how soon we can see something happen to improve this problem of people unable to work because of not having the services in the region?
