Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Thebacha, that Bill 3, An Act to Amend the Income Tax Act, No. 2, be read for the second time. Mr. Speaker, this bill changes the individual tax rates for persons with taxable incomes in excess of $66,492 for the 2004 taxation year and for the 2005 and subsequent taxation years. It also clarifies a provision of the Income Tax Act relating to individual income tax. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
