Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, yesterday, in my Member's statement, I made the comment about the issue of the public health concern I have for children who are exposed to second-hand smoke. Subsequent to that, the Minister provided me with a position paper from the Ontario Medical Association, which talks about the very cutting-edge legislation and rules that are being put in place in other jurisdictions with respect to subjecting children to second-hand smoke. Mr. Speaker, for some time now, there are some parents in Hay River who have been asking me to raise this issue. I would like to ask the Minister, when assessing prospective adoptive homes, is whether the adoptive parents are smokers considered in the home evaluation and the suitability of the parents.
