Mr. Speaker, I’d have to review Hansard, but I don’t think I made the comment that 911 has to be available in every community. I think the word I said was “basic service” in each community, and I’ve assured the Member that we haven’t closed the door on this and we will explore all options and see what works well.
We have had recommendations and motions moved from the NWTAC. We’ve had recommendations from the coroner’s office. So as I said in my last statement before, this is something that we’re going to have to have a look at and see if it’s feasible and see if we can work out some partnerships so we can get this thing moved forward.
