Mr. Speaker, I give notice that on Tuesday, May 28, 1996, I will move the following motion: I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Yellowknife North, that the Legislative Assembly reaffirm its support and commitment to the care, well-being and good health of our senior citizens;
And further, that the Minister of Health and Social Services re-examine the initiative and reconsider the decision to standardize the room and board rates applicable to seniors residing in long-term care facilities in the Northwest Territories. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
