Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I would like to present a petition dealing with the matter of financial assistance to students in Aklavik. Mr. Speaker, the petition contains 21 signatures of Aklavik residents and, Mr. Speaker, the petition requests that the Government of the Northwest Territories provide financial assistance to students attending the Hope and Alex Gordon Learning Centre so they may continue to try to move and improve their lives and enhance their skills through educational pursuits that will benefit their futures and the futures of their children.
