Earlier in the day, I made a statement regarding Fort Simpson and the problems they are having with their funding. Is this kind of arrangement going to be available
for other communities in the future, or is this the only community which is going to receive this kinds of special treatment? Thank you.

As I stated earlier, when the policy was approved I sent the policy to each tax-based municipality. I also said earlier this program is available to all tax-based municipalities. So far we have been approached by two tax-based municipalities, Hay River and Norman Wells. We will be speaking to them. If we are approached by any tax-based communities we are prepared to discuss the block funding issue with them. Thank you.
