Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, my question is directed to the Minister of Education. It is in regard to the Arctic College board. As we all know, there is a board in place to look at issues involving Arctic College and education and the development of the residents of the Northwest Territories. Mr. Speaker, I believe the college board has been meeting, but not with a full quorum. I, for one, feel that we have to seriously ensure that all people of the North are represented on this board because this matter does have an effect on the ability of our colleges to ensure that their issues are being raised and that the residents of the North are being ensured that their voices are being heard. I would like to ask the Minister, when will he ensure that they have a full compliance by having all the seats of this board filled?

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. We are working on this as we speak. There were a number of nominations that had come in and there were, as Members know, a lot of matters to take care of for the past two and a half weeks, but we are working on it at the moment. Thank you.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, as I stated, the board has been conducting meetings without a full quorum. I have been getting complaints from my riding, especially concerning the Arctic College program in Inuvik where we are looking at the possibility of doing a bunch of work on that college. I would like to ask the Minister again if he has a date for when we will have the full board?

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I feel that we have to ensure that all residents are being heard on this board. Will the Minister meet with the board to ensure that the communities or the regions who are not represented, that they do have the opportunity to have their issues dealt with and raised? I do not feel it is fair that this board is meeting and making decisions that will affect all the different colleges in the North. Will he do that?

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, could the Minister commit to make sure that there is movement on this area and also keep the Beaufort Arctic College Board informed, along with myself and the other Members who are affected, so that we are made aware that these appointments are being filled and exactly who is filling those positions, so that we can know who to go to with our concerns regarding who will be on those boards?

Mahsi, Mr. Speaker. My question today is for the Minister responsible for Education, Culture and Employment. I would like to thank the Minister for answering an oral question I asked on November 7th. He answered it a couple of days ago, regarding funding for aboriginal languages and cultural programs in the South Slave Education Council.

In his answer, he pointed out that $1,016,000 for aboriginal language and cultural programs goes to the South Slave Educational Council. Of that portion, what percentage, or what is the dollar figure that goes to the communities of Lutselk'e and Fort Resolution? Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
